Adopt a Mom

This is a preventative program we have recently started with the purpose of preventing sexual exploitation. Often times, especially in very impoverished countries mothers who cannot provide for the needs of their children will try to find other ways to make money and one of these ways is through prostituting themselves. At this time we are able to help one widowed mother of three girls by paying for school fees, uniforms and other school supplies. that are needed. We also give to help with groceries and other monthly bills. Neema is extremely thankful for the help and knows that it is the Lord who provides for her and her family

“Pure and undefiled religion in the sight of our God and Father is this: to visit and look after the fatherless and the widows in their distress and to keep oneself uncontaminated by the world.”

Dancing with the Dove

Dancing with the Dove began in the heart of Annah Young, our president, many years ago, as spontaneous worship in her home church sanctuary, even when no one else was there. Such joy and peace would enter her heart, and she would think, “One day I want to share this experience with children and adults”. In the fall of 2021, at the prompting of several moms, she began teaching expressive dance to eight young girls. Now this arm of It is Well Ministries has grown to 25 girls, all pursuing a relationship with the Holy Spirit through worship and dance. It is Annah’s hope that by teaching identity, value, and worth to these young girls, they will recognize abuse and be able to stop and report it.

Rescue and Restoration

The Wright Brothers Memorial Trophy was established by the National Aeronautic Association (NAA) in 1948 after a trust fund was created in 1936 by Godfrey Lowell Cabot of Boston, a former president of the NAA. It is awarded to a living American for "significant public service of enduring value to aviation in the United States." The presentation of the award is made annually at the Aero Club of Washington, as close as possible to December 17 each year, the day on which, in 1903, the Wright brothers made the first flight in an airplane. The inaugural recipient of the trophy was William F. Durand (pictured), "a pioneer in aeronautics, naval propulsion and engineering research methods". Until 2010, winners of the award received a trophy depicting the Wright brothers' Wright Flyer aircraft. From 2010 onwards, a redesigned trophy featuring a silver obelisk and bronze inscription has been awarded. The trophy has only been awarded to women on three occasions. Bringing Awareness

We receive training from “Not a Number” who gives parents and the community the information they need to protect their children from predators of abuse and exploitation on the the web. In 2024, once we are fully trained, we will start working with the local schools and community programs to bring this information to middle schools and high school students.
